Personalised and Respectful Services

Our family business, continues to offer a personal touch. We listen and we support.

The first step to take following someone’s passing is to obtain a Medical Certificate from a doctor, detailing the cause of death. This certificate is required to formally register the death at a local register office within five days, unless the death is under investigation by a coroner. In the Wirral area, the register office is located at Birkenhead Town Hall, where you can find information on opening hours and contact details.

Once the death has been registered, you’ll need to select a funeral director who will oversee the arrangements for the funeral. After the service, the Registration Office will provide a Certificate for Burial or Cremation along with the Death Certificate.

We’re here whenever you need us, whether it’s immediately after a loved one’s passing or when you’re starting to think about planning ahead. If someone has passed away at home, a hospital, or a care facility, you can call us once you have the necessary paperwork, like the Medical Certificate from a doctor. We’ll guide you through each step from there. Don’t hesitate to reach out, day or night, as our team is available 24/7.

No, you’re under no obligation to choose us if we meet for a consultation. Our initial conversations are here to provide you with information and discuss how we can support you. We encourage you to take the time you need to make the best decision for you and your family.

It is ideal to make an appointment to ensure we can provide dedicated time to discuss your needs but we will always try to be available to you if you wish to just phone.

Obviously, it is always nice that we have protected time to get to know each other - so an appointment heps. We want to understand your needs, so that we are able to answer any questions you may have in detail and guide you through the process. However, if you need any immediate assistance or prefer to speak on the phone first, please give us a call – we’re always here to help.
